Vanilla Banana Bread Recipe

This is another simple banana bread recipe, this time we will be adding some vanilla powder so we are calling it vanilla banana bread recipe.

For This Vanilla Banana Bread Recipe You Will Need:

- 1 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 3 or 4 ripe & smashed bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup of sugar (or even less, check out low sugar banana bread recipe)
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- some salt


1. Turn on the oven and set it to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

2. Take a big bowl and a mixer (or even just a bigger spoon) and mix butter into the mashed bananas. Then mix in the sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda and salt. Mix in the flour last. Pour the vanilla banana bread batter into a buttered loaf pan, bake for 1 hour and you are ready for some delicious vanilla banana bread! Yummy!

Yummo! I cooked this in my breadmaker on the bake setting for an hour and it worked a treat. I've been checking out your other Banana Bread Recipes & can't wait to try some of the more "interesting" flavour combinations - thanks for the site!

The lack of baking SODA in this recipe made my bread come out rather smooth and shiney - not the usual crispy crust I am used to.
