@amanda, the bread will not rise, it will be flatter...
It doesnt call for sugar silly
i didn't start mixing yet, but wondering what size pan i should use?
So, no one has said if this recipe is any good. Can someone post what they thought of this recipe compared to others they may have tried?
....Curious...Thanks a bunch:)
I love the banana bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol
this is an excellent recipe! i used whole wheat flour and it's still moist. i also substituted olive oil for butter and i like how little honey (not to mention no sugar) it calls for.
i've made banana bread from different recipes for years and this one is as good as any. i use walnuts.
Hi,
I used spelt flour instead of regular wheat, I used coconut oil instead of butter, and I added a little stevia powder (Stevia in the Raw) - like a couple tablespoons. Turned out very well! Yum. Actually, could have done without the extra stevia - especially if using nearly brown bananas - but it was for a group of people who are maybe used to the intense sweetness of regular desserts.
